Join Weink as an author
Weink was built by authors, for authors. Our goal is simple: help writers reach readers, earn money, and keep full control over their work.
Here’s what makes Weink different:
Support for authors. We’re building tools to help with editing, formatting, translation, audiobooks, branding, detailed analytics and more. Many features are already in development, with much more coming soon. We also plan to introduce a repartory of specialised freelancers (such as editors, cover designers, translators etc.), so you can easily find professionals if you are looking for something specific! As always, you’re in control, these tools and resources are optional! You’re free to use them as much or as little as you like. We won’t force anything on you.
You get paid without being “chosen.” There’s no gatekeeping and no applications. Once your book is on the platform, you can start earning from the very first chapter and first reader. Every author on Weink is paid!
No exclusivity. Your book does not have to be exclusive to Weink. You can keep selling it on other platforms, your own website, or anywhere else (just make sure you’re not violating contracts that require exclusivity elsewhere!).
You keep your rights. You retain 100% ownership of your book. We only ask for a non-exclusive right to distribute your work and use its information for marketing purposes. You can aslo easily remove your work from our platform at any given moment if you ever decide to part ways.
Wide reader reach. Weink main objective is to create an accessible platform, it is designed in mind for readers to have access to books for free while authors still get compensated for their work, which lowers the barrier to discovery and helps authors find an audience. We have 138000 users (January 2026), and our numbers are growing everyday! We are in 160 different countries so your reach would really be international!
Created by authors. We know the struggles of traditional publishing, exclusivity traps, and unpaid exposure, because we’ve lived them.
💰 Weink Author Earnings
All authors on Weink are compensated. At Weink we want full transparency, you can see on your author portal from where the revenue you are generating are coming from.
Authors can currently earn through:
- At least 65% of the ad revenue generated from their books
- Reader donations (coffee beans)
- 65% of Subscriptions goes staright to the authors
- Gaming challenges on the Offerwall
We’re actively developing additional revenue streams as the platform grows. Our long-term mission is to make it possible for indie authors to earn a sustainable income while keeping their creative freedom.
📝Professional Tools
We know writing can be a lonely journey, and it’s not always clear where to go for support. That’s why we’re building tools specifically designed for authors, to use at different stages of their writing journey. The Weink Portal is a constant work in progress, and we’re continuously developing new features to better support you along the way.
Some tools will be directly integrated into the platform, while others may connect you with trusted professionals if you choose to use them.

Weink is growing steadily, with readers discovering books directly through the app. Today, Weink is used by 180000 readers worldwide (January 2026), and our community continues to grow quickly across more than 160 countries.
One of Weink’s strengths is discoverability. We’re building one of the most filter-rich reading platforms available, with 20+ discovery filters that help readers find books that truly match their tastes, making it easier for the right readers to find your work!
Readers discover books through in-app browsing and rankings, detailed genre and preference-based discovery, reader engagement and sharing, and platform-driven visibility tools that highlight both new and established authors.
Because books on Weink are free to read, readers are more willing to try new authors. This significantly lowers the barrier to discovery and helps boost visibility and readership, especially for emerging writers looking to reach an international audience.
📖 Easy to publish on Weink
Publishing on Weink is simple and beginner-friendly.
You just:
- Create a Weink account in the app
- Log into the Weink Portal
- Upload your book and chapters
- Submit for review
Chapter-by-chapter uploads are supported, and incomplete works are welcome. You don’t need a finished novel to get started and earn!
Our review process is designed to be quick, and you’ll regain editing access as soon as your book is approved. No technical expertise required.
📊 In Depth Analytics
In the Weink Author Portal, you’ll have access to a dashboard with a wide range of insights about how your book is doing. Here are a few examples of what you can see:
- How many readers are engaging with your book
- Reader comments and feedback
- Your earnings generated through ads and donations
- Detailed reader statistics
- Rankings
- Visibility insights
- Growth tracking tools
The goal of these insights is to give you all the data you need if you want to better understand your audience, improve your book, or track your growth over time. That said, everything is entirely optional, these tools are here to support you, not pressure you. You’re free to use as much or as little of this information as you like. Your book, your process.

Absolutely! Many Weink authors start out as readers.
If you’re unsure about posting your working on Weink we encourage you to join as a reader first explore the platform, discover what’s out there, and see if you enjoy the reading experience! It’s a great way to get a feel for the community and how Weink works.
When you’re ready, becoming an author is easy. Simply submit your book, and you’ll automatically become a Weink author — no extra steps, no special status, no gatekeeping.
