The Dead Don’t Do House Rules

When Mara Bellamy inherits her late grandmother's ridiculously creepy Victorian house, she expects dust, questionable furniture, and maybe a few family secrets.

She does not expect the house to come with ghosts.

While cleaning the attic on Halloween night, Mara discovers an old spellbook hidden beneath the floorboards. Naturally, she reads the one spell marked:

DO NOT READ ALOUD.

Within seconds, three long-dead witches appear in her living room, a sarcastic ghost crashes through the ceiling, and every grave in the town cemetery starts glowing.

Apparently, Mara's grandmother wasn't just a strange old woman.

She was the last guardian of a supernatural doorway keeping the dead, witches, and other things-that-should-not-exist from crossing into the living world.

And Mara has accidentally opened it.

Now she has until sunrise to send everyone back before the town becomes permanently haunted.

Unfortunately, the ghosts have other plans.
