Weink Is a Startup World Cup France Finalist

Startup World Cup is a global startup competition organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures.

Each regional competition brings together selected startups to pitch their project. Then, the winner can move on to the Grand Finale in San Francisco!

For the Aix en Provence edition, 10 startups will pitch in English in front of an international jury. The winner will represent France at the Grand Finale on November 6, 2026, with a 1 million dollar investment prize at stake.

Why This Matters for Weink

Weink was built around one simple idea. Readers should be able to discover books for free. At the same time, authors should be able to earn from their work and keep control of their stories. Today, many readers want to discover new voices. However, it is not always easy to find indie books beyond the same bestseller lists.

Meanwhile, many independent authors are looking for better ways to reach readers. They also need platforms that respect their rights and creative freedom. That is why Weink exists. We want to make book discovery easier, more open, and more supportive for both readers and authors.

Pitching for Readers and Indie Authors

At ConnEX SUMMIT, Anaïs will pitch Weink’s vision for the future of reading and writing. For readers, Weink makes books free and easy to access.

For authors, Weink offers a way to publish, reach readers, and earn from their stories. Authors also keep their rights and do not need to publish exclusively with Weink.

Most importantly, Weink connects both sides of the book community. Readers get more stories to discover. Authors get more chances to be read.
