Early Access & Bonus Chapters Are Coming to Weink ✨
One of our biggest goals at Weink has always been simple: helping authors earn more from their stories while still creating a great reading experience for the community 💛 And because of that, we’re really excited to officially announce two new features coming to Weink:
⏳ Early Access Chapters and Bonus Chapters! 📚
These features are designed to give authors more ways to reward readers, build excitement around updates, and create additional income from their books.
📚 What Are Bonus Chapters?
Bonus Chapters are exactly what they sound like: extra content readers can unlock after the main story ends ✨
This could include:
- extra scenes
- POV chapters
- epilogues
- “what happened after”
- alternate perspectives
- little moments readers weren’t ready to say goodbye to yet
We know readers always want “just one more chapter,” so we wanted to give authors a fun way to continue sharing content beyond the main storyline 💛 Bonus Chapters will be available to Weink+ readers, and they’ll also earn authors double the amount of beans compared to a regular chapter ☕✨
⏳ What Is Early Access?
Early Access Chapters allow Weink+ readers to read chapters before they become public on the app 👀
Authors will be able to:
- choose which chapters go into Early Access
- decide how long chapters stay exclusive
- build anticipation around updates
- earn more from highly anticipated releases
Once the Early Access period ends, the chapter will automatically become available to everyone on Weink. Just keep in mind that if a chapter stays in Early Access for two weeks, it will then need to remain publicly available on Weink for at least the same amount of time. We want to keep things fair for all readers, so this is something to consider when choosing your Early Access duration!
Early Access Chapters will also earn double the usual amount of beans ☕💛
💛 Why We’re Building This
At Weink, we genuinely believe authors deserve more opportunities to earn from their work. Writing takes time, creativity, energy, and honestly… a lot of emotional damage sometimes 😂
We want to continue building features that:
- support indie authors
- create sustainable income opportunities
- reward active readers
- help authors grow their communities
- make storytelling feel valued
Weink also remains completely free for authors to publish on, while continuing to introduce more ways for indie writers to earn from their stories 💛
These new features are another step toward that.
