If you are looking for non-exclusive publishing, it means you want to share your book without giving up control of where your story can go next!
Your book is not just a file you upload somewhere. We know how much work goes into the words you manage to put on the page. It reflects your world, your characters, your time, your voice, your creative process, and in a way, it’s a piece of you. As authors ourselves, we know that writing comes with its challenges. A publishing platform should help your story grow, not lock it into one place forever.
That is why Weink does not ask authors for exclusivity ❤️
What Does Non-Exclusive Publishing Mean?
Non-exclusive publishing means you can publish your work on a platform while still keeping the freedom to share it elsewhere.
On Weink, authors keep 100% ownership of their books. Weink does not ask for exclusivity of your work. It means you can publish on Weink while still keeping control over where else your story appears.
Can You Publish on Weink if You Use Amazon KDP?
We get a lot of messages from authors who already use Amazon KDP asking if they can also publish their book on Weink. The answer depends on whether your book is enrolled in KDP Select.
Amazon KDP itself is a self-publishing platform, but KDP Select is a specific optional program. If your ebook is enrolled in KDP Select, Amazon requires that the digital book to be exclusive to the Kindle Store during the enrollment period. That means you cannot publish that same ebook digitally anywhere else while it is enrolled.
So if your book is currently in KDP Select, you sadly cannot publish that same book on Weink at the moment. Not because Weink asks for exclusivity, but because Amazon does.
Weink is different. We do not require exclusivity. You can publish on Weink, keep your rights, and still make your own choices about your book, your website, your author business, and your future. You just need to make sure you are not breaking any exclusivity agreement you may have signed somewhere else.
Why Author Rights Matter
The reason Weink was built this way is simple: Weink was created by authors, for authors. We know the fear of putting your work into the world and wondering what you might be giving up in return.
Our goal is never to restrict authors. Writing is a creative process, and every author’s journey looks different. Some writers want to publish chapter by chapter. Others want to release a full book. Some want to sell elsewhere, build a community, or try different platforms.
Your story should stay yours.
Publish Without Giving Up Rights
If you are looking for non-exclusive publishing, Weink gives you a free and flexible place to share your stories, reach readers, earn from the first chapter, and keep control of your creative future. A publishing platform should help you grow, not limit what you do next.
