She lives with the constant ache of a past she can barely remember and the burden of her present reality: a felon with no job, a broken relationship with her family, and a spiraling heroin addiction. Her only solace is the temporary escape her needle provides and the fleeting presence of an enigmatic man named Stagger, who seems to know more about her than she knows about herself.

Charlie’s life takes a drastic turn after a brutal beating from her sister, Robin, leaves her with physical wounds that mirror her emotional ones. Just as she hits rock bottom, a mysterious woman who looks exactly like her appears, revealing a hidden truth: Charlie is the reincarnation of a god named Siobhan. Siobhan's appearance triggers Charlie's dormant powers and reveals a celestial conflict that puts both her and Robin in mortal danger.
