Before We Became a Tragedy

Before there was a war, there was a love story.

Before the bloodshed, before the centuries of grief, before fate turned their love into a tragedy whispered through time, there were two souls who found one another in a world that had not yet learned how cruel it could be.

Perhaps their story began with a chance encounter, a stolen glance, or a conversation that neither could quite forget. Perhaps, for a little while, they were allowed to be nothing more than two people hopelessly drawn to one another, unaware of the destiny waiting to tear them apart.

After all, every tragedy must have had a beginning.

“Tell me, my love, if you had known how our story would end, would you still have chosen me?”

And perhaps, in another lifetime, the answer would still be yes.
